I’m Nino Carandang, a rangefinder addict and just another ordinary photographer. At one point in my life, I was the founder and editor-in-chief for iCreate Magazine and Digital Photographer Philippines. After my days in the publication, I transitioned to become a GTM and marketing professional, and became the country channel marketing representative of Western Digital and later as a GTM Director for Huawei. I worked for PLDT Enterprise as the Head of Smart WiFi (free public Wi-Fi service). Now, I moved to PLDT Home as the Head of Retail and Online Acquisition. I just completed my MBA degree from the Asian Institute of Management.
I still love traveling and photography whenever the opportunity presents itself. I mainly shoot in monochrome, but I occasionally dabble in color. I currently own different cameras, namely: a Sony A7RIII (and a variety of Sony lenses), a Fujifilm X100F (an impulse buy after selling my Leica Q to a close friend), a Leica M246 (purchased from legendary lensman Arnel Murillo), and a Leica M11 (and about 5 50mm, 4 35mm lenses – Voigt, Leica, Zeiss, Canon and even Konica Minolta). I primarily shoot with the Leica M246 and Leica M11 if it’s for personal work.
